Top Ten Tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday for 01/09/15

Top Ten Tuesday was originally started by The Broke And The Bookish, where a topic is given every Tuesday and the blogger then produces a top ten list of books to fit the weekly subject. The topic this week is ‘Top Ten Characters I Didn’t Click With‘ so here it is:

1. Jean Louise- Go Set A Watchman

Not Scout in To Kill A Mockingbird, but Jean Louise in Go Set A Watchman seemed like a bit of a flimsy character compared top what I read in the first book.

2. Mia- The Good Girl

I didn’t finish this book, but Mia just seemed to not care about anything, even though she had been kidnapped and was probably fearing for her life at times

3. Gomez- The Time Traveler’s Wife

I found that there could have been a bit more development on his character, it didn’t really seem like there was a lot of depth to him.

4. Ana- Fifty Shades series

She was so scatty, one minute she was here, one minute she was there, her character could have been a bit stronger.

5. Bella- The Twilight series

This is kind of a given seeing as the last one is basically the same person, but again, she just didn’t seem to be a very strong character.

6. Ruth Ardingly- The Well

Her character was very boring, even when something exciting was happening.

7. Cathy- Wuthering Heights

her character was just so dry and her love for Heathcliff seemed too fake and forced

8. Willow Chance- Counting by 7s

Good book, but the main character didn’t seem to have a lot of emotion in her, especially when she lost her parents.

9. Jack- Room

It was very difficult reading this book from a 5 year old’s POV, but he seemed to be a bit more clueless to what is going on than a 5 year old would be.

Sorry there aren’t 10 again this week

Happy Tuesday and Happy Blogging!
