Books can be dangerous… that’s a big statement. It’s true though. I have read many books that have changed my life, not just the way I act, but also the way I think about other people, and the quality of life itself. Harry Potter is a big one that stands out for me. The whole series has so many morals about life, love and friendship, and after reading it, I really felt as though things had changed (apart from having joined a massive family of Potterheads!!) The Fault In Our Stars was another massive book that really changed things for me, and how we sometimes take life and the people in it for granted, when we really shouldn’t. The Version’s of Us is a more recent book that has the potential of changing the way a lot of people look at life, and how maybe one tiny decision we make could influence the rest of our lives, so we should always take time to think everything through. The Book Thief taught me how, for some people, death may be the preferable way to go, and to take all opportunities that life gives you; if the window is open, you should climb through it and see what’s on the other side.
