Top Ten Tuesday for 19/04/16

toptentuesday

Top Ten Tuesday was originally started by The Broke And The Bookish, where a topic is given every Tuesday and the blogger then produces a top ten list of books to fit the weekly subject. The topic this week is ‘Top Ten Books That Made Me Laugh‘, but unfortunately I don’t read a lot of books that make me laugh a lot, so I’ll try and list books that had moments of extreme happiness for me, but weren’t necessarily funny:

1. Shtum- Jem Lester

28376073

2. What Milo Saw- Virginia Macgregor

25434787

3. Will Grayson Will Grayson- John Green

17208924

4. The Versions of Us- Laura Barnett

25345198

5.Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone- JK Rowling

72193

6. The Time Traveler’s Wife- Audrey Niffenegger

8270119

7. Me Before You- Jojo Moyes

Yes it made me cry a lot more, but there were moments where I was uncontrollably happy too!

13373663

8. Ballet Shoes- Noel Streatfeild

3779

That’s all for this weeks Top Ten list, if anyone wants to recommend any funny books in the comments then they will be greatly received, as you can see I don’t read a lot of them (or any in fact!)

Happy Tuesday and Happy Blogging!

Jade 🙂

  1. Omg Will Grayson IS hilarious. Basically Tiny Cooper = permanently wonderful. XD And I definitely had several laughing out loud moments in Harry Potter…the banter there is perfect and Harry’s sass!! EEEEP. Here’s my TTT!

  2. Harry Potter is a great choice for this topic. Just all the silly school child humour which really does lighten the books up particularly as they getter so much darker as the series progresses.
