Top Ten Tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday for 19/07/16

Top Ten Tuesday was originally started by The Broke And The Bookish, where a topic is given every Tuesday and the blogger then produces a top ten list of books to fit the weekly subject. The topic this week is ‘Top Ten Books Set Outside The US‘ so here it is:

1. The Harry Potter Series- JK Rowling

I defintiely could not leave this left out, seeing as it the best selling book series EVER, and it’s set in the glorious UK

2. The Shadow Hour- Kate Riordan

Another one set in the UK, showing the earlier 20th century Britain

3. The Curious Charms of Arthur Pepper- Phaedra Patrick

This is set in various places, mainly England, but also India and France are featured making it a culturally rich novel

4. The Girl In The Ice- Rober Bryndza

Quite possibly one of the best British set thriller’s I have ever read!

5. Beside Myself- Ann Morgan

Another one for those good old British thriller lovers out there, with a psychological twist!

6. The Other Me- Saskia Sarginson

Set in England and Germany, this novel is bound to have you hooked!

7. The Versions of Us- Laura Barnett

An amazing ‘what-if’ book, the majority of it set in England, which you will fall in love with

8. Me Before You- Jojo Moyes

Tissues at the ready for this heartbreaking British romance which is definitely a lot more than your typical British romance!

9. The Book Thief- Markus Zusak

The only featured on my list that isn’t set in the UK, instead set in Germany during the war, this is a must read for every lover of books!

10. Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland- Lewis Carroll

Well it’s set in Wonderland of course!
