Monthly Book Roundup

What I Read (or rather didn’t read…) in January

Hello fellow bookworms! I can’t believe January is over already! Time moves too fast for my liking, especially now I’m in my last months of university and, as much as the work is really piling up now, I don’t think I want to leave and go into the big wide world… I have to adult! Anyway, because I’ve has so much work to be getting on with, I’ve barely had any time to fit reading in! I’ve only really managed one full book this month… the start of the year reading slump didn’t help either…

What books have I read this month?

A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas

What am I currently reading?

A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas

The Book of Tea by Kakuzo Okakura

I’m already behind on my Goodreads Challenge, and it’s only January… I’ve got the rest of the year to catch up I guess, but I’m not off to a great start!

Average Rating: 4.25

Number of total pages read: 930

Books read toward 2017 Book Challenge goal: 1.75/50 books

Books I plan to read in February:

The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin

The Evolution of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin

The Retribution of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin

I’ve heard mixed reviews about the Mara Dyer trilogy, but I thought it was about time I read them and formed my own opinion, and hopefully I’ll get them all read in February!

What do you think of the books I’ve read this month? What about the ones I plan on reading? Leave your comments below, and book recommendations are always welcome!

Happy February and Happy Blogging!

Jade 🙂
