Hello fellow bookworm! Top Ten Tuesday is now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl! Most of us are familiar with Top Ten Tuesday by now, but if your new to this, a topic is given every Tuesday and the blogger then produces a top ten list of books to fit the weekly subject. The topic this week is Top Ten Books Set In a Different Countries. It’s very rare I come across books which are set in the UK, but a lot of stuff I read is set in America, but I’ll try and spice it up a bit!
Murder on the Orient Express by Agatha Christie
Set: Various destinations, including Constantinople and Croatia
The Book Thief by Markus Zusak
Set: Molching, Germany
The Killing Files by Nikki Owen
Set: Spain
The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin
Set: Florida, USA
Everything I Never Told You by Celeste Ng
Set: Ohio, USA
To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee
Set: Alabama, USA
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them by J.K. Rowling
Set: New York City, USA
I’m going to stop there, because the rest of the list will just end up being books from America or fictional places, so if anyone wants to recommend any books from further afield, please do! Feel free to leave a link to your list down below so I can find some more exotic books to read!
Until next time…
Jade 🙂

Everything I Never Told You… Man, I still remember that book quite vividly. I still think it is one of the most beautifully written books I’ve ever read.
Great list!

I love The Book Thief! I read an Agatha Christie book in high school and always meant to read more. I’ve heard good things about them. I guess they’re classics for a reason. Great list!

Murder on the Orient Express is the only Christie novel I’ve read, but I’d like to read more too!

Interesting list. I’m in the Caribbean so my list is a bit different (understatement) – and England and America would be the “exotic” – so it’s different but given that you want to try books from different places here it is: https://jhohadli.wordpress.com/2018/03/27/ttt-another-country

The Book Thief is in my “all time favorite” category. Another one I didn’t see on the list is a newer release by Tom Corbett. Palpable Passions, is such a well written story that takes place between the US and the middle east.. I really can’t say enough about it, romance, humor, drama, it had it all. I found it here, http://www.thomascorbettauthor,com
