Top Ten Tuesday

My Reading Slump Saviours

Hello fellow bookworm! Top Ten Tuesday is now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl! Most of us are familiar with Top Ten Tuesday by now, but if your new to this, a topic is given every Tuesday and the blogger then produces a top ten list of books to fit the weekly subject. The topic this week is ‘Tope Ten Books to Pull You Out a Reading Slump. I feel like I’ve been in a permanent reading slump this year, which absolutely sucks, but it’s nice to know I have these books I can turn to in a time of need…

Harry Potter #1-7 by J.K. Rowling

The Fault in Our Stars by John Green

The Book Thief by Markus Zusak

Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell

Turtles All The Way Down by John Green

Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon

Matilda by Roald Dahl

That’s all for today! I’ve definitely had to call upon a few of these books this year, as I’ve had some major reading slumps, but Harry Potter especially has been getting me through! I’d love to know if we share any of the same reading slump saviours, and what other books you have on your list to recommend, so please feel free to leave a link below to your posts too!

Until next time…

I loved Matilda when I read it; I was very young and read it several times since! I always turn to Harry Potter in times of need, and The Book Thief is just such an incredible book!

I’m totally with you on Harry Potter, but I think rereading The Book Thief would make me all sad and mopey again lol. It’s such a stunning book that deserves to be read, but I don’t know if it would help speed my reading back up! Glad it works for you though! You’ve got a few on here that I need to push up my TBR list asap!

If you’d like to see my twist on this week’s topic (a progress report on my past 4 seasonal TBR lists) feel free to do so here:
