Top Ten Tuesday

What’s On My Autumn TBR?

Hello fellow bookworms! Top Ten Tuesday is now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl! Most of us are familiar with Top Ten Tuesday by now, but if your new to this, a topic is given every Tuesday and the blogger then produces a top ten list of books to fit the weekly subject. The topic this week is Top Ten Books on my Autumn TBR.

I have been really bad at posting recently, there’s been a lot for me to do in life at the moment, and I may not be blogging as much in the foreseeable future because I GOT A JOB!!

I am so lucky to be starting work with Bloomsbury Publishing, one of my top companies to work for, next month, and I am incredibly excited (and also incredibly nervous as well!) It all seems very surreal! My commute to and from London will give me ample reading time each day too which is a plus! So, without getting too excited, here are my top ten books I will be reading in Autumn…

The Sun is Also a Star by Nicola Yoon

Harry Potter (audiobooks 4-7) by J.K. Rowling

Gemina by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff

To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han

Bridge of Clay by Markus Zusak

The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue by Mackenzi Lee

Eliza and Her Monsters by Francesca Zappia

The Upside of Unrequited by Becky Albertalli

A Thousand Perfect Notes by C.G Drews

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindlewald – The Original Screenplay by J.K. Rowling

That’s all the books for today, I’m really looking forward to diving into all of these and hopefully my upcoming train journeys a little more bearable! I’d love to know what you’re planning on reading this Autumn, and which of these books you recommend I read first, so feel free to link your posts down below!

Until next time…

I really want to get my hands on Jenny Han’s books! Since seeing the movie, I just NEED them, you know? I want all the fluff, haha.

Read The Gentleman’s Guide a while ago, but I’m eagerly waiting on The Ladies Guide. Not so long now before it arrives! 😀

Happy reading!

I haven’t seen the movie yet, I’m waiting until after I’ve read the book!

I’ve preordered the paperback of Gentleman’s Guide which is out next month so I’m hoping to read it as soon as I have my hands on it!

Ah thank you!!

I just started listening to the HP audios and LOVE them. Jim Dale is a fantastic narrator. Hope you enjoy the rest of the books on your list!

Here’s my TTT.

They are soooo good! I listened to Deathly Hallows last year and loved it so much, and I’m listening to Goblet of Fire which also great! I’m in the UK so mine are narrated by Stephen Fry who is smashing, although some words are pronounced differently to what I thought… Thank you!

Congrats on your new job 🙂
I’d love to try the HP audiobooks. For some reason I haven’t seemed to get on that well with audio in the past, but HP is such a familiar series it might be a good place to start.

Thank you! That’s exactly the same as me, I never got on with audiobooks and even now I can only really listen to books I know really well, I lose concentration otherwise 😅 I hope you try a HP one, they are great!
