July Monthly Musings

Hello fellow bookworms! July was a crazy busy month, at work and at home, so I’ve been feeling incredibly overwhelmed with lots of changes in my life and also with ongoing stuff that never seems to end. I’ve started a new job at the same company, but it’s still a large change from what I’ve been doing there for the last few years, and I have a feeling it will take a while before I’m on top of everything in my new role. I got my reading lists through for my next university module which I am over-the-mood excited about, so I have made a good start on those, and trying to juggle everything else under the sun as well – remember to take a break, people! But we’re here to look back at what I read in the month of July, so let’s just get on with it, shall we…

What books did I read this month?

Dirty Laundry by Disha Bose (proof copy – not pictured)

The Other Black Girl

The Midnight Library by Matt Haig

Tiny Beautiful Things by Cheryl Strayed (audiobook)

Release by Patrick Ness

Favourite book of the month // The Midnight Library

Monthly page count // 1196

Reading Challenge Check-In // 31 out of 50 books

What am I currently reading?

It’s a lot, I know…

I’m coming to you from a few days into August, and I have managed to finish some stuff already, but that will have to wait until my next update! What do you think of the books I’ve read this month? What about the ones I plan on reading? Leave your comments below, and book recommendations are always welcome!

Until next time…
